Dating and Relationship Guru Diana Falzone to Connect
NEW YORK - February 9, 2011 --Paltalk, the leading real-time, video-based community with over 70 million downloads, today announced the launch of their "Virtual Valentine Room," a free pre-Valentine's Day video chat dedicated to singles in search of lasting love. Hosted by dating and relationship guru, Diana Falzone, the session will be held live beginning at 7pm EST on Sunday, February 13th and will feature Diana's expert insight in to the art of love. Participants will also be encouraged to share their personal tales of love gone wrong and pose specific questions to the expert moderator.
"Valentine's Day is notoriously known as the "love" holiday in which couples and lovers celebrate the joy of their relationship and now Paltalk is giving a chance for singles to come together and enjoy the company of other chatters and myself as a "virtual valentine"," says Diana Falzone. "Instead of being upset over spending February 14th alone, this initiative allows users to make new connections and perhaps even meet that special someone."
Paltalk recently announced the launch of Paltalk 10.0, the latest version of its real-time, video-based chat community. The new platform boasts enhanced features and services, many of which are perfect for Valentine's Day chats, including:
- Virtual Gifts: Virtual gifts are fun animations that can be sent to other members of a chat room (check out one here). They are a great way to break the ice and start a conversation, or even just show someone you are interested in them. Personalize your virtual gift with an optional custom message to the giftee that will appear in the animation. Other members in the chat room will see that you gifted this person and what gift was sent. A small gift icon will be visible next to the receiver's name for a short period of time. See a full list of gifts here.
- SuperIM URLs: Personalized links allow free 10 person video chat anywhere on the Web with any friend, regardless of whether they are a Paltalk member.
- PalTube: Share YouTube links in a SuperIM and watch videos together, as well as co-browse the YouTube website without having to leave the IM window.
Paltalk is the only video chat technology with the ability to scale for any size chat rooms (one-to-one or thousands-to-thousands) and has been downloaded more than 70 million times to date. Paltalk allows users to connect with friends or people they do not know on a variety of platforms, including chat rooms, one-on-one video IM and SuperIM, the company's flagship instant messaging client that allows users to share video, audio and text with up to 10 people at any time for free.
Diana Falzone has been part of the Paltalk team since 2007. She has hosted her own relationship-centric show as well as her current Thursday evening show interviewing Hollywood, music and sports celebrities. Diana also acts as Paltalk Spokeswoman and ambassador to the public and press.
