Paltalk Blog - What's New on Paltalk!

As you may have noticed, over the past couple months we've been updating the look of our website. We wanted to refresh the Paltalk brand so that new and existing members alike can enjoy the thousands of rooms and topics our audience from around the world creates.
Today we launched our new groups pages. Anyone who's used Paltalk knows that Paltalk Rooms are what makes Paltalk the most vibrant community on the web. Our rooms can accommodate thousands of people interacting simultaneously on video - and we hope that these new pages showcase the content our members create (that's you!). It's what makes Paltalk a place that millions of people enjoy every day.

The key changes are:
•         Updated the general layout to be cleaner, simple and easy to use.
•         Our testing showed people were confused by the option 'become a member' so we have changed this to 'become a fan'. Members are people in your chat room, fans are well.. fans :)
•         We have souped-up the share room options and made them more prominent.
•         We added a nice big "Enter Room" button to drive more page visitors directly into your chat room.
 
 But wait, something's missing... where are the guestbook comments and media uploads?
Ah, well, we believe the key to a great website is to make things easy to use and simple to navigate so it will allow even the most "fat-fingered" of us (me) to find our way around the site. During user testing and from your feedback Emails it became clear that the media uploaded was rarely viewed and the guestbook comments were mostly gobbledegook and unwanted by chat room owners. So we made the painful decision to remove them (R.I.P).
