Mind-boggling statistics

Paltalk has come along way since its birth in late 1998 when we had 2 servers and 3 staff members.  We have been growing steadily every year and the stats are pretty amazing, so we wanted to share some of them with you....

Every Minute on Paltalk...

  • 15 Million Video Frames are viewed....SMILE!

Every day on Paltalk...

  • 20 Terabytes of data pass thru our servers -- that's 20,480 gigabytes, or 20,971,520 MB (approx 6,990,506 MP3 files) or 214,748,364 KB...or 6 cans of cold beer, 2 Ducks and a damp iPod...Ok, I made that last one up :).
  • 200,000 pals are added.  Lots of friends are made on Paltalk (we aren't going to tell you how many pals are removed a day hehe).
  • 100,000 Chat Rooms are opened by our fantastic members!
  • 14,400,000 IMs are sent.
  • 25,000,000 Chat Room text messages are sent.

Other stats...

  • Our busiest time of the week is 5PM (EST) Sundays
  • Over 55 Million Nicknames have been created to date.
  • There are ~800 Paltalk Server processes.

Note: all stats are approximations for a standard day.

Yes indeed it is very interesting to know about what I am using everyday. Is this possible to know more information like how many chat rooms closed; how many green or purple nicks up to date; what country presents or have most members; what current promotions that paltalk launched; how many red admins (or at least how many paltalk staff members)... bla bla bla lol. Sorry a bit curious...or you can say lolie is nosy lol But lolie is interested to know lol
